The article substantiates a diagnostic framework for assessing the professional culture of future teachers. Five interrelated criteria axiological-motivational, cognitive-professional, activity-technological, communicative-ethical, and reflexive-developmental are specified through observable indicators and evidence sources. The framework is designed for criterion-referenced assessment in teacher education and supports developmental feedback rather than one-time ranking
