This article investigates the social factors that generate cultural universalization in contemporary society and examines their consequences for social solidarity and cohesion. The study argues that social stability under conditions of modernization rests on the practical viability of solidary and cooperative forms of selforganization, and that such stability is most durable when national and universal values are held in dialectical, rather than antagonistic, relation. Drawing on a qualitative synthesis of philosophical and sociological literature – including the work of A.S. Panarin, F. Webster, A.B. Ergashev, A. Axmedov, and Z. Abdullaeva – the paper identifies six interlocking drivers of cultural universalization: the digitalization and informatization of social life; the global diffusion of mass culture; migration and urbanization; the internationalization of education; economic globalization; and the institutional-political architecture of governance. The results show that the absolutization of either national or universal values – exclusivist particularism on one hand, cosmopolitan uprootedness on the other – generates fragmentation, distrust, and conflict, whereas their balanced synthesis constitutes the principal mechanism of social cohesion. The discussion situates these findings within the specific context of Uzbekistan, where digital transformation, demographic youthfulness, and active state policy on national identity intersect with global informational pressures. The article concludes that sustaining social solidarity under cultural universalization requires an integrated strategy combining legal-institutional safeguards, digital and information literacy, and the deliberate cultivation of a values synthesis rather than a values hierarchy
