This article explores Uzbek literature of the period of independence, the renewal of the current literary process. Creative trends in the literary process, updates in poetic thinking are studied on the example of the work of talented creators Khurshid Dostmuhammad, Nazar Eshonqul, Isajan Sultan, Kholyor Safarov. The unique style of the creators, metaphorical, philosophical-artistic thinking, the expression of complex States of the human psyche in various racuses, symbolism, neomifologisms, the fertile use of paranormal episodes, national expression of the spirit, the leadership of the asociative plot type, the priority of non-plastic elements, the works of art are proven on the basis of analysis of stories, short stories, and novels by a number of creators
