This review analyzes the role of phytotherapy in the treatment of malignant neoplasms, focusing on their mechanisms of action and clinical efficacy. Despite the risks of adverse interactions between herbal products and synthetic drugs, their integration into chemotherapy protocols demonstrates significant potential. Research confirms that the judicious combination of herbs with chemotherapeutic agents not only minimizes the side effects of the latter but also enhances the overall effectiveness of antitumor therapy, making this area highly promising for modern medicine
